ABOUT CAPE COTTAGES McGREGOR Situated a 5 minute stroll from the centre of the village of McGregor, less than two hours from Cape Town, our tastefully decorated cottages are set in beautiful gardens and offer upmarket accommodation for couples. In the tradition of olde McGregor, our cottages are not sprawling city houses but cosy country cottages - simply perfect for two - and each cottage is fully equipped and has a character all it's own.

PEAR TREE COTTAGE 19th Century National Monument Bordering apricot orchards, this dinky thatch cottage for two offers a luxurious queen bed in spacious tiled sleeping area with overhead fan, open plan to tiled living area with leather couch for two & cheery Dover Stove fireplace. There is a separate fully fitted kitchenette complete with small fridge, hob and microwave, as well as a charming bathroom with shower, washbasin & toilet. The vine covered stoep has a rustic outdoor picnic table & braai, and overlooks a pretty, private garden with seating set under shady trees with mountain views.There is a CD / DVD player and TV (SABC 1,2, 3 & E) is available. DSTV only if you bring your own Smartcard. Self Catering (Breakfast by arrangement)
SUNBIRD COTTAGE Shower Under the Stars. Set in a rose filled garden shaded by a large oak tree with mountain views and enclosed by dry stone walls, this romantic Cape Georgian style cottage complete with vine shaded stoep and Weber braai, has a two seater leather couch and trendy Firepot, overhead fan, a fully fitted Oregon kitchenette, stylish queen bed & open plan oval bath for two (there is a screen & separate toilet for the modest!) as well as a rustic stone outdoor shower open to the stars. HOOPOE COTTAGE Out Of Africa Attached to the main cottage, this beautiful Cape Georgian style cottage has it's own private entrance. The spacious sandstone tiled bedroom has a luxurious queen bed & overhead fan, and is open plan to the living room which has a comfy two seater couch, open fireplace, & fully fitted kitchenette with small fridge, hob and microwave oven. The exquisite sandstone en suite bathroom has a shower & double oval bath. French doors open onto private stoep with outdoor table & chairs for two, Weber braai & lovely garden with mountain views.
